You're probably living under a rock if you haven't heard of Corbin. From their proud leadership in the custom seat business, to their self-titled cable TV show, to their distinctive tag adorning what seems like every third custom seat you see, they're hard to miss. We recently had a chance to take a tour of their main factory facility in Hollister, California, to give you a look at what goes into their products.
 | The main showroom is more like a museum display of all things Corbin. There's an expansive collection of seats on the walls, the Corbin Ride On show playing on a continuous loop on a flatscreen, and a stunning collection of modern bikes along with a slew of rare Indians. | |
Going behind the curtain into the offices, the collection continues with an inline-4 in an office hallway, and an ancient Indian bicycle/moto hybrid in Mike Corbin's office. | This is Mike Corbin, king of his domain. Behind him is a collection of the patent certificates he holds. | Stepping out into the factory, we find a row of freshly shaped saddlebags waiting for finishing. |
Here, a craftsman engages in the time-consuming process of prepping the glass for paint. | Then into the paint booth for a coat of primer, and on to drying stands to wait for packaging. | |
